Beameefy (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use the Beameefy mobile application and website.

• Associated timestamps or related metadata needed to provide the journaling feature

Journal entries saved in Beameefy are stored using Supabase, which we use as a secure backend and database service.

We may process limited technical information needed to operate the app, such as:

• Device type
• Operating system
• Basic app interaction and diagnostic information
• Performance and reliability information

Some app data may be processed locally on your device, while some limited technical data may be processed by our service providers where necessary to operate, secure, and improve the app.

Subscriptions are processed through:

• Google Play
• Apple App Store
• RevenueCat

We do not store your payment card details. Payments are handled securely by the relevant app store provider and supporting subscription platforms.

We do not sell your personal data.

• Account authentication services are provided through Clerk
• Journal entries are stored using Supabase
• Subscription services are supported through RevenueCat
• Sensitive authentication tokens are stored securely using encrypted storage mechanisms where applicable

While we take reasonable steps to secure your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Beameefy uses trusted third-party service providers, including:

• Clerk – authentication and user management
• Supabase – backend database and storage for journal content
• RevenueCat – subscription management
• Google Play / Apple App Store – payment processing and subscription billing
• Other hosting and infrastructure providers where necessary to support app availability, security, and performance

These providers process personal data only as necessary to provide services on our behalf or to support app functionality.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to:

• provide Beameefy services
• maintain your account
• provide journaling functionality
• comply with legal obligations
• resolve disputes
• enforce our terms and protect the security of the service

Journal content is retained until:

• you delete it,
• you request deletion of your account or associated data, or
• it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, unless we are required to retain it for legal, security, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons.

Where we must retain limited information for legal or security reasons, we will do so only as necessary and in accordance with applicable law.

If you are in the UK or EU, you may have the right to:

• access your personal data
• request correction of inaccurate data
• request deletion of your data

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Beameefy account and associated data at any time.

When we receive a valid deletion request, we will delete your account and associated personal data unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory, security, fraud prevention, or other permitted reasons.

10. International Processing

Our service providers may process data in countries outside your home country. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in line with applicable data protection laws.

Beameefy is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate authorization where required, we will take steps to delete that information.
